David Weaver-Guitar and Vocals was born in Durham,N.C. He was raised in Chapel Hill. He started playing guitar or in the words of Billy Gibbons “plank spankin” on an instrument given to him by his oldest brother,Max, as a Christmas present. At the age of 10 yrs old and a Sears classical guitar,David was off on his musical journey. His earliest memories take him to a rehearsal around 12 yrs of age with a group of kids that included Hugh Taylor, James’ youngest brother. At 14 yrs old he was playing regularly in Greenville,N.C. at local parties,community buildings,and civic clubs. Stops along the way include sharing the stage with Bro T. Holla, Arrogance, Nantucket, The Earl Scruggs Revue, Clifford Curry, and many others. This band-”BACK N TIME”- is cookin and will be my most satisfying adventure for many years to come.

Dave Braswell — Drums and Vocals– Dave has been a member of Gavinheart for the past 4-5 years and before that was a founding member if Trickbag fro 1998-2006. Prior to that, he has worked with a wide variety of groups. These include Speed Limit, Showdown, Freeborn, Billy Don Burns, Pat McKinney, Studio Z, Johnny Carver, WSM Morning Crew, Southern Comfort, Ten Pan Alley, Trinity and Silverado. He has played extensively on the road all across the United States and Canada. Dave brings a wealth of talent and experience to BACK N TIME BAND. His equipment list includes Slingerland Drums, Paiste Cymbals, Gibralter Hardware and ElectroVoice mics. Dave looks forward to adding vocals and his flair on the drums to Back N Time Bands stellar line up.

Jimmy Weaver Keyboards-Vocals started at twelve years old playing in a band with high school players that included his brother David. They played battle of the bands in and around the triangle area, including Kenan Stadium at UNC. Those bands evolved into Bro T Holla which had regional success way back in the stone ages of the 70′s. He has played with many bands including, Bo Diddley, Bob Cox Trio (of Peter Douchin band), Tim Kreckle Band (of Jimmy Buffet) George Thoroughgood, Earl Scruggs, Too Much Fun, The Castaways, The West Street Band, and filled in or sat in with Jim Quick and Coastline, Craig Woolard Band, Bo Schrounce and The Fantastic Shakers. His accomplishments on keys allows him to play solo, duet or trio work with ease and his vocal ability has been compared to Huey Lewis, Michael McDonald, Craig Woolard. With the compliment of his fellow musicians of the Back N Time Band we hope this will be the entertainment you choose for your next event.

Jimmy Weaver is a seasoned musician and vocalist who has performed all over the United States for Corporate parties, weddings and clubs. With the rest of the band his goal for every show is to have people talk about the fun they had. His ability  to read a crowd helps insure this will happen. Having been a Master of Ceremony makes him perfect for introductions at wedding and all functions. With his other musicians they are sure to make your party is remembered by all who attend.
